We provide classes that teach the basics, learn new steps and take your dancing the highest of levels. Friendly classes and easy to follow lessons with traditional & custom choreography.

2019 sees us launch into our 50th year of providing quality dance classes in Brisbane, Australia and through this time we have developed a reputation for dance excellence within the wider Irish Dancing community. Under the continued direction of Vicki Lynagh, the Lynagh Studio of Irish Dancing offers outstanding instruction to students aged 4¾ years to young adults in all areas of Irish dance.

As a proud local Irish dancing School in Brisbane, we are the longest established Irish Dancing School in Queensland. With many past and present students we pride ourselves on a professional and friendly school where pupils can enjoy all aspects of Irish dancing!

We believe that what makes the Lynagh Studio a high-quality dance school is our many and varied performance & competition opportunities, the strong emphasis placed on technique and correct training, and our people – our highly qualified and encouraging teachers, our wonderful students of all ages and abilities through to our supportive parents. You will notice a great sense of community at the school, everyone enjoys being a part of our activities, it’s fun! It is our pleasure to share our knowledge, ideas, love of dance, and and our experience with regarding to competing and performing.

BLUE CARD CERTIFIED

All of our teachers are accredited holders of the “Working with Children Check – Queensland’s blue Card System“.  The purpose of the blue card system is to contribute to the creation of safe and supportive environments for children and young people when receiving services and participating in activities which are essential to their development and well-being, such as child care, education, sport, and cultural activities. A requirement for people working with children and young people in Queensland including our teachers.
